Each Wednesday from 6:30-8pm all 6-8th grade youth are invited to gather for dinner, faith conversations, and fun.
Rooted Youth is a collaboration with First Presbyterian Church and United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon.

Seeds of Faith offers a Fellowship Time directly following the 9:00 am worship service each week. Treats are shared and it is a time enjoyed by all ages. Click on this link to volunteer to host Fellowship or to provide treats for this time. All who worship are welcome to stay for Fellowship!
Outreach
Outreach
Our Outreach Committee plans many service projects that are intended to connect with the Mount Vernon/Lisbon community and beyond. Here are a few of the service projects that were carried out during 2025: Sidewalk Ice Melt bottles, Valentine's Day cards for college students and our military, shelf-stable Dollar Tree Dinner bags, hosting Rooted Youth Group meals, assisting with Meals on Wheels, Heritage Days and Sauerkraut Days parades, Cornell College student welcome booth, God's Work. Our Hands Sunday, Highway 1 Clean-Up, and Seeds of Hope Family Christmas gifts through SELCC.

Monday Morning Ministries
Monday Morning Ministries is a sub-group of our Outreach Committee. Their mission is to reach out and send God's love through a card mailing ministry. They meet twice a month to coordinate cards for birthdays, anniversaries, special life events and thank you messages. All are welcome to join!
