The ELCA has long taught that stewardship of creation is a key component of faithful living. In 1993 the church released its first teaching on Care for Creation, and revised the document in 2023 as Earth's Climate Crisis became more severe. These two documents will guide the teachigns this month.

October 4 @ 1030am: STUDY
Bible Study - Care for our Common Home

October 7 @ 6pm: BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS
Bring your furry, four-legged, your creepy-crawly, and your flying pet family for a special blessing

October 11 @ 1030: DO
Wear work clothes, bring wheelbarrows, rakes, shovels, etc. and we’ll clean up Highway 1 and the property

October 18 @ 1030: LEARN
A guest panel will present little ways we can all make a difference in our individual stewardship of creation

October 25 @ 1030: REFORM
Wear RED and learn how Martin Luther’s teachings shape our theology for creation care
