for the annual Back to School Blessing!
A special blessing will be given to all students, teachers, and staff who return to school.
Schedule:
9am-10am - Worship
10am-10:30am - Refreshments and conversation
10:30am-11am - Activities including storytime,
craft, and games
Rooted Youth Group kicks off for another fun-filled year on Wednesday, September 16!
Who: Any youth grades 6-8
What: A weekly youth group that
meets on Wednesday
evenings from 6:30-8
Where: Rooted Youth Group
rotates locations monthly,
and visits all sponsoring
congregations: First
Presbyterian of Mount
Vernon, United Methodist
Church of Mount Vernon,
and Seeds of Faith
Lutheran Church in Lisbon.
When: 6:30pm - Dinner starts
7:00pm - Program,
including Bible
study/small group, games,
crafts, and other activities.
